This doctrine provides that, absent express agreement to contrary, either employer or employee may terminate their relationship at any time, for any reason. Berry v. Doctor's Health Facilities, Tex.App.-Dallas, 715 S.W.2d 60, 61.
Such employment relationship is one which has no specific duration, and such a relationship may be terminated at will by either the employer or the employee, for or without cause. Criscione v. Sears, Roebuck and Co., 66 Ill.App.3d 664, 23 Ill.Dec. 455, 384 N.E.2d 91, 95.
